Pete Mangurian to Columbia

Columbia has officially announced Pete Mangurian as their new head coach.

Mangurian resume includes a head coaching stint in the Ivy League at Cornell from 1998 - 2000, as well as stops at Stanford and LSU, and NFL experience at New England, Atlanta, New York, Denver and Tampa Bay. His most recent stint with the Tampa Bay Bucs ended in January of this year.

The Lions are getting a coach that has had the opportunity to learn under some great minds working under Bill Belichick and Dan Reeves.

Mangurian will take over the Columbia program that finished 1-9 this season and 4-6 in 2010.
