Mic'd up at Stanford with tight ends coach Morgan Turner

The first thought that comes to mind when you think of Stanford football is likely a big physical offensive line, but those that really understand the success of the Cardinal offense know the monumental role that tight ends play in their offensive scheme.

It has become customary to see three or more tight ends on the field at any given moment under both Jim Harbaugh and David Shaw, and those tight ends have proved to be the favorite targets of quarterbacks over the past couple years, with guys like Colby Fleener, Zach Ertz and Levine Toilolo moving on to successful NFL careers.

In Stanford's latest Coach Speak video, tight ends coach Morgan Turner gets mic'd up for a practice, and players talk about the key to their production over the past few seasons. If you have someone that wants to make a living playing tight end in the league, going to Stanford and learning the offensive scheme under coach Turner is a great way to get a step up on just about everyone else.
