Michigan State awarded 'Good Housekeeping seal of approval'

Current ESPN analyst, and former NFL General Manager, Bill Polian observed the draft over the weekend and offered some wisdom on the players that come out of the Michigan State program.

"Every Michigan State player has an added advantage because he's coached by Mark Dantonio, and comes from that program." Polian explained.

"Michigan State is the 'Good Housekeeping seal of approval'. There are a handful of programs around America where you can say 'This kid will step right into our program and know exactly what to do all of the time,' and that's a benefit for all Spartan players."

As coaches we know that is one of the highest compliments that we can get from someone outside of your program. Football is a small part of the game, but preparing players for success in life once they leave campus is the real test of a quality program, and Polian believes that Dantonio and his staff in East Lansing are among the best in the country at doing just that.
