Paul Johnson: Some teams are good enough to punch the clock and get by. We're not.

Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson was disappointed with the special teams play in the 28-25 loss at Kansas.

"As poorly as we played on offense and defense, it killed us. We did enough stupid things in special teams to cost us the game. Couple that with penalties and there you go."

"Nothing's easy," Johnson said. "You have to learn it every game. Until you go into it with that mentality, you're not going to be successful.”

"Every team has 85 players on scholarship. Some teams are good enough to punch the clock and get by. We're not."

Georgia Tech travels to North Carolina on Saturday for a 12 pm EST kick-off.
