Paul Revere reminds you that "GameDay is coming!" to Northwestern

The last time College GameDay came to the Northwestern campus, Pat Fitzgerald was the Wildcats' star linebacker and half the current Northwestern student body was still in diapers. So, yeah, this Saturday is a pretty big deal in Evanston.

"Whenever we go to a new place or a place where we haven't been in a long time, you can see the genuine excitement in the faces of the kids," GameDay producer Lee Fitting told the Chicago Tribune. "They are excited to see the guys. That's when we get our warmest receptions."

"This is a huge deal for Northwestern," added Northwestern Vice President of University Relations Alan Cubbage. "It's a special opportunity to show what we have here."

With two weeks to prepare for not only the arrival of Urban Meyer, Braxton Miller, Ryan Shazier and the No. 4 Buckeyes, Fitz's crew used that time to also prepare for Chris, Lee, Kirk, Desmond and the No. 1 pregame show in sports.
