What more fitting tour guide for a behind the scenes tour of Stanford's new football facilities than a super smart offensive lineman?
The big guys can't complain of not getting enough love in their new football complex as there are plenty of wall graphics around the facility paying tribute to the guys on the front lines, and the first row of seats in the team meeting rooms are even a little wider to accommodate the big fellas.
What other program can say that? When it comes to recruiting the bigs, that's got to put Stanford at the front of the line (or scores some major points at the very least) for the high academic bulldozers.
A couple other noteworthy items from the tour:
- The TWO projectors in the meeting room can somehow project THREE screens
- They have an entire section of lockers dedicated to players now playing in the league for them to come back and use
- There is no shortage of praise for the Buck/Cardinal Club who made all the upgrades possible. Players sound very appreciative of the new facility.
The full tour is well worth 6 minutes of your time.
