This was the scene in the second quarter last night at Yager Stadium as Miami (Ohio) hosted Buffalo. The Bulls won, 44-7, dropping Miami to 0-11 on the season. If you want a picture perfect example of the state of the program Miami's next head coach inherits, here you go.
Speaking of the next head coach, athletics director said last night his search was down to "eight to 10" candidates and that he'd like to have someone in place by the end of the season. It's painfully obvious this program needs its own James Franklin, someone with the experience and coaching acumen to build a winning team and also possesses the skills and desire to cultivate a prosperous relationship with the community. They need someone who can sell Miami (Ohio) football to recruits and fans, and smart enough to give them a reason to come.
In the meantime, the RedHawks will close their season next Friday, Nov. 29, at Ball State.
