Texas high school football to cut back two a days

The University Interscholastic League approved rules that state that there will be no two a days allowed during the first four days of practice, and no two a days on back to back days. On days that there is a two a day, there must be a minimum of two hours between the two practices.

The proposed changes come after most college levels and the NFL have already limited the two a day model. The states education commissioner still must approve of the proposed changes before anything takes effect.
