As the college entries have illustrated, we definitely live in a video-driven world. In 2013, players, fans and boosters want video. So when it's time to drive excitement for your program, high school coaches break out the video camera and whatever editing equipment that they can get their hands on in order to drive home a point, or in many cases, motivate their guys.
Video is the medium that high school coaches are using to motivate, which is the theme for each of the following finalists for our high school video of the year division. These are the finalists that stood out to us and will make their way in front of our panel of judges.
Chaparral (AZ) - Saguaro 2012 Motivational
Holland Hall (OK) - Holland Hall Football
La Mirada (CA) - Football 2013 Preview
Trinity Catholic (FL) - 2012 Season Highlight
Immokalee (FL) - Immokalee Indians Football Trailer
Minnetonka (MN) - 2013 Preseason Pump Up - "All The Above"
Choosing a winner from that group will be a tough task. Thankfully, we've assembled a super star panel ready to make that tough call. They are SI senior writer Andy Staples, Bleacher Report lead college football writer Adam Kramer, Smart Football editor and author Chris Brown and SB Nation managing editor Brian Floyd.
We'll announce the results of their decision, along with the FBS and non-FBS divisions, on Monday.
