'The offensive coordinator job may be the most difficult in college football'

Ask Gerry DiNardo what the most difficult job is in all of college football and his answer might surprise you.

After news broke of Brady Hoke dismissing Al Borges at Michigan, the Big Ten Network reached out to their top analyst with coaching experience, and DiNardo pulled the curtain back to reveal that being a head coach wasn't as hard as being an offensive coordinator, from his perspective.

"I always felt more pressure as an offensive coordinator than I did as a head coach, because I felt like more people were depending on me, and I didn't have total control." DiNardo explained.

"It's a difficult situation. I'd say an offensive coordinator may be the most difficult job in college football."

It's an interesting point, and one that I am curious to get feedback on from coaches around the country. Weigh in on Twitter (@FootballScoop or @CoachSamz) and I'll add your comments and tweets to this article throughout the day.

FootballScoop has since learned that Alabama offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier will join Brady Hoke's staff in the same capacity. Continue to check The Scoop for updates throughout the day.
