Video: Florida Atlantic turned its GA's into coordinators for a day

It's hard to think of a team in college football having more fun right now than Florida Atlantic.

Last Saturday, the Owls upset Conference USA-leading Tulane, 34-17. With no game this weekend, FAU held its Scout Bowl. It's the one time a year when the universe flips, scout team players are the center of attention and graduate assistants (hooked up to GoPro cameras) served as coordinators.

With a closing schedule of Southern Miss, New Mexico State and Florida International (combined record: 2-26), a real possibility - or likelihood - exists of Florida Atlantic rallying from 2-6 to 6-6 and becoming eligible for one of Conference USA's six bowl slots.

It's almost as if their head coach (what was his name again?) didn't resign under a cloud of uncertainty a dozen days ago.
