Immediately following the first release of Georgia Tech's "The Process" video, we were looking forward to their second installment. Well it's now here, and it's excellent.
This one focuses on the new recruits reporting to campus and what that means for them, as well as how the coaching staff approaches getting them acclimated to their new "family" and their new surroundings.
Paul Johnson and his assistants, including director of player development John Sisk, weigh in with their thoughts on how they go about getting the newest additions to the team adjusted to their new life.
That adjustment starts with getting the new players on campus for their summer sessions in the weight room, because learning how they do things is a vital part of their overall development in the program, as Sisk explains near the tail end of the clip. "The big thing is to teach them our way and what we expect of them and how to do it the right way. As they go through it day in and day out, they learn a little bit more about themselves. That's what it's all about."
