Program wins national title after starting from scratch six seasons ago

Seven years ago the football program at Grand View (IA) was just an idea and writing on paper, and a year later the program was just getting off the ground. Last Saturday the team made their first trip to the NAIA national title game, and ended up coming home with a dominant 35-23 win over Cumberlands (KY), the #1 ranked team in the country. Their national title marked the second straight year that the NAIA crowned a first-time champion

Just as any quality program would do, the staff at Grand View took a few cameras with them on their trip down to Rome, Georgia to chronicle the experience for everyone involved.

While I highly recommend taking a look at the full clip that documents all of their activities leading up to the game (very similar to a bowl experience for FBS teams), I have gone ahead and skipped to the part that highlights the emotion leading up to kickoff, highlights of the game, and the celebration (and impressive outpouring of support) afterwards.

Here's a closer look at a really good program being built in Des Moines, Iowa.
