When newly minted Wisconsin head coach Gary Andersen found out that Matt Wells, his offensive coordinator at Utah State was going to stay in Logan and become the program's new head coach, he turned to San Diego State offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig.
Ludwig and Andersen coached together under Kyle Whittingham at Utah during their 13-0 season and 2008 Sugar Bowl victory. Ludwig has a long list of stops as offensive including Cal Poly, Fresno State, Oregon, Utah, and Cal.
Judging from this clip, it's not hard to see why Andersen added Ludwig to the staff. He brings plenty of energy to the practice field, connects nicely with his players, and dishes out positive reinforcement when it's deserved.
We're looking forward to see the product he puts on the field on game day.
