In the second quality video of the week that South Carolina has released on their winter workout regime (the first detailed their weight room philosophy), head strength and conditioning coach Joe Connolly provides everyone the motivation needed to get up and get after it.
Something tells me that if there's a way that Gamecock players can set Connolly's motivational message in the first minute as their alarm clock, they're most definitely going to.
"Rise and grind. It's 5am and your hand can't make it to the alarm clock before your voice starts telling you that it's 'too early, too dark, and too cold' to get out of bed." Connolly leads into the video with before getting philosophical.
"Luck is the last dying wish of those who want to believe that winning can happen by accident. Sweat on the other hand is for those who know that winning is a choice."
"It's up to you to decide now, because destiny waits for no man. So sit up, put your feet on the floor, and don't look back, because we have work to do."
"Welcome to the grind!"
