What one program learned from the pizza delivery industry

Delivery in "30 minutes or less" was a long-held mantra for the Domino's pizza chain. The phrase became so ubiquitous with the industry that it practically became the mantra of the entire industry. "30 Minutes or Less" was even the title of a pizza delivery/bank robbery comedy released in 2011.

So, what does this have to do with football?

In an effort to sell season tickets, Chattanooga offered Mocs fans that same promotion: buy a package and we'll have your tickets in hand in 30 minutes or less. It just so happened that head coach Russ Huesman and quarterback Jacob Huesman would be the delivery men.

If you're a small program, this is a good way to build goodwill in the community, all in 30 minutes or less. And if you're a large program like, say, Alabama, this is a good way to startle your fans into wetting themselves when they turn the corner and see Nick Saban waiting to award their tickets.
