Arkansas high school ranks losing one of top coaches (Shiloh Christian)

The state of Arkansas is losing one of their top head coaches.

Shiloh Christian HS (AR) head coach Jeff Conaway announced his resignation earlier today.

"@ShilohSaintsFB has been more than a place to call home! It's been my Family," Conaway shared on social media.

"Sad to announce that we will be leaving, but excited to follow Gods calling! Thank you all that sacrificed, invested and absolutely held nothing back to bless me, my family, and our teams. We love you much!"

Sources tell FootballScoop that Conaway is set to become the new head coach at The First Academy (Orlando, FL).

Conaway led the Shiloh Christian program to a 99-23 mark in nine seasons, and led the program to four straight appearances in the state title games. They captured the 2020 State title game.

He also served as the school's athletic director.

Back in 2019, when we first launched the FootballScoop Podcast and it centered on talking and learning from coaches, Conaway was kind enough to join us and shared some great programming ideas including a father-son camping retreat, and a son-mom date night that helped him build the program at Shiloh Christian.
