Well, the internet was a dark, mean place tonight my friends. Bud Foster, speaking to local reporters, said that they would consider fining players for disciplinary reasons.
The internet lit up with a million people screaming that coaches shouldn't be withholding cost of attendance money from players. In this case, those million people were correct. Not 5 minutes after I offered this tweet:
Virginia Tech AD Whit Babcock told reporters that he and I were in agreement (well, he didn't actually mention me; but...) and that he would put a stop to this concept immediately.
Fining college athletes is not a good idea my friends. Don't go there.
