Imagine if Alabama's football program had to descend all of its wealth only upon the starting defense. That's the type of dynamic at play for the Kansas basketball program.
The Jayhawks recently opened a $12 million dorm for its basketball team -- and 17 lucky regular students -- that's essentially a miniature version of a full basketball facility. There's half a basketball court, a media center, a meeting room, apartment-style single rooms, and a nice, full-stocked porch.
Take a look, care of the Kansas City Star.
