Some coaches are taking issue with a statement made by Tom Herman (Garden City CC)

This morning, I used a tweet from Tom Herman in the One Minute Warm Up where he states that if recruits want to maximize their talent to come play for "the only coach in college football to develop EIGHT 2/0 stars into NFLers."

Herman's tweet is referring to Longhorns corners coach Jason Washington, who has past coaching stops at Houston, Rice and Texas State during a coaching career that started in 2004.

Well a few coaches are taking issue with that statement, one of which is Garden City (JC - KS) head coach Jeff Sims, who points out that Herman's statement isn't exactly accurate. Sims leads one of the top Junior College programs in the country at Garden City, where they captured the NJCAA national title in 2016 and proudly carry the motto of "Graduate. Championship. Scholarship."

Surely there has to be more coaches to challenge 8 players (like Herman states), and even 34 (like Sims points out). Aren't there?
