Trevor Reilly has left the Colorado coaching staff, CU confirmed to Colorado Buffaloes on SI.
Reilly was a quality control analyst for special teams for the program's first season under Deion Sanders -- the only one of Coach Prime's 22 coaching assistants specifically designated as a special teams coach.
Reilly has already been removed from CU's online roster, and as a result the Buffaloes do not have an assistant wholly devoted to special teams.
A former NFL linebacker, Reilly started coaching as a GA on Deion Sanders's Jackson State staff in 2021, then made the move alongside a number of assistants to Boulder ahead of the 2023 season.
Colorado opens its sophomore season under Coach Prime on Thursday, Aug. 29 against FCS No. 2 North Dakota State (8 p.m. ET, ESPN).
