Deion Sanders, Steve Sarkisian, Mel Tucker, Art Briles ... FootballScoop dives into college football's biggest topics (Art Briles Oklahoma)

Two weeks into college football's 2023 season, there's undeniable on-the-field storylines ... and some absolutely insane happenings off the field.

Deion Sanders has upstart Colorado 2-0, on the verge of 3-0 and the most surprising team on the field -- well, surprising to perhaps everyone except the Buffaloes and Coach Prime.

Steve Sarkisian has Texas alllll the way back, right? Right now, absolutely. The Longhorns walked away from host Alabama after they had trampled over their hosts.

Consider: Texas absorbed Alabama and Nick Saban's top counterpunch and then delivered knockout-blows to the Tide. Texas finished this game in victory formation, content to become the first team ever in the Saban era to come into Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and win by 10 or more points.

And Mel Tucker ... "reckless," "conduct unbecoming," "I don't see how he ever coaches another play at Michigan State." Yeah, that's an intense discussion.

Art Briles on the field at Oklahoma? Why was it right? What was it wrong? Does family matter at all or will Sooners athletics director Joe Castiglione continue to coerce prison-of-the-moment statements from his football staff?
