Georgia State: Dave Kaplan has joined the staff as DFO. Kaplan is the former executive director and tournament director for the Atlanta Classic Foundation, Inc. He directed Atlanta’s PGA Tour Event from 1983-2008.

Arkansas State: Jason Gregory has been hired as the new DFO. Gregory previously served as the DFO at Northern Arizona.

New Hampshire: Our sources tell us that Mark Deleone has accepted the DFO position at New Hampshire. Deleone, the son of Miami Dolphins’ assistant George Deleone, previously served on the staff at Iowa.

Ohio State: Todd Alles, as expected, will take over the DFO position at Ohio State. Alles replaces Bob Tucker, who has retired. Columbus Beechcroft HS head coach Tom Dunlap has joined the OSU staff as a program assistant.

Oregon: We hear offensive GA, Jim Fisher, has moved into the full-time assistant DFO for recruiting position.

Elon University: FootballScoop has confirmed that former Allegheny College defensive line coach Charlie Porterfield has accepted the DFO position at Elon. Porterfield is a former Elon player and team captain.

Indiana: We are hearing that DFO Harold Mauro has decided to retire after a long career at Indiana. Our sources tell us Associate DFO Mark Deal will take over as the new DFO at Indiana under Bill Lynch.

Iowa: DFO Bill Dervrich has resigned from the University of Iowa.

Ohio State: We hear Ohio State director of football operations, Bob Tucker, will retire on June 30th.
