North Carolina announced Saturday night its football program will now wear Jordan Brand gear. His Airness himself was in the Dean Smith Center to make the announcement at halftime of the Tar Heels' win over Duke when, as happens to all of us, he tongue tripped over itself and created a new metaphor.
The phrase has taken on a life of its own this week. Not that Jordan would know anything about that.
And now the source of all this nonsense is now getting in on the act, too.

It's a good thing MJ isn't as vindictive as he used to be. Otherwise North Carolina's entire athletics department would be wearing Umbro gear next year.
