FootballScoop Weekend Rewind: Breaking down LSU's breakdown, Clemson's woes, Cam Ward's throws and much more (LSU)

The first full week of college football action is complete.

Well, almost. There's that primetime affair tonight featuring not-much-longer No. 10 Florida State hosting Bill O'Brien and Boston College.

But the overall weekend did not disappoint.

LSU has problems. Brian Kelly is mad.

But is it all doom-and-gloom for the Tigers? Is this going to turn into a referendum season for Brian Kelly, his third on the Bayou?

FootballScoop President Scott Roussel has some compelling thoughts, especially about the Tigers's offense.

Georgia flexed. We knew the Bulldogs would flex.

But what ails Clemson, truly? Dive into the discussion.

And was Notre Dame really the fresher, stronger and ... faster team on an SEC field late Saturday night deep in the heart of Texas?

Boise State was big-time at Georgia Southern, led by All-America running back Ashton Jeanty.

What does it mean big-picture for the Broncos and individually for Jeanty?

Penn State has had dynamic running backs. Do the Nittany Lions now have a true downfield passing game? Our coach, Doug Samuels, has thoughts on the Penn State addition of offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki.

Vanderbilt needed one week to compound the ACC's misery, which saw good news-bad news when Georgia Tech upended Florida State last weekend to open the season.

The Hokies returned 20 of 22 starters but trailed almost wire-to-wire at Vanderbilt, picked last in the SEC.

But Clark Lea has brought in veteran Jerry Kill to help steer the sheep and Kill brought in Deigo Pavia at quarterback.

Coach Samz has great insight into the Jerry Kill addition.
