Former Ohio State player Marcus Williamson arrested for aggravated bank robbery (Marcus Williamson)

Marcus Williamson, who logged five years in Ohio State's football program under both Urban Meyer and Ryan Day, has again run afoul of the law.

Numerous reports Thursday out of Columbus, Ohio, reveal that Williamson has been arrested for "aggravated robbery" charges for an area bank.

He's been denied bond this afternoon and awaits his next court appearance Friday.

For Williamson, an Ohio native who was a consensus four-star prospect coming out of Bradenton, Florida, and selected to participate in the Under Armour All-American, was arrested two years ago in Memphis, Tennessee, on kidnapping and robbery charges.

But Thursday's arrest for allegedly robbing a First Merchants Bank approximately just five miles from Ohio Stadium may not be an isolated incident.

Columbus TV station WBNS CBS 10 cited sources in reporting "Williamson is being investigated for nine bank robberies in the last few weeks."
