Go inside the South Carolina locker room with emotional interim HC Shawn Elliott before and after Vandy win (South Carolina)

When you tab someone like Shawn Elliott to lead your program in the wake of Steve Spurrier's mid season resignation, you'd better have cameras at the ready every moment because there is bound to be plenty of emotion and passion spewing from Elliott while he leads the team in their first game without the Head Ball Coach.

And that's exactly what South Carolina did, bringing the cameras into the locker room for both the pregame speech, and as Elliott addressed the team fresh off of a Gatorade victory bath.

Highlights from before kickoff:

Elliott: "I've been preparing for this day my entire life, to lead a great group of young men just like yourselves."

"There are only so many times in life that you get to show your stuff. Well, by God, today is the day that we show our stuff. I am proud, our coaches are proud, and men it is energetic, and I am THRILLED to be here. I'd rather be no other place in the world. I challenge you, and I challenge us, to step to the plate and make this the time of our life."
