Cy-Fair (TX): Longtime head coach Ed Pustejovsky will retire at the end of the academic year. He has coached since 1982 and served as Cy-Fair's head coach since 2004, leading the school to seven district tiles, 13 playoff appearances and a state title in 2017.

Totino-Grace (MN): After 18 seasons leading the program, head coach Jeff Ferguson has decided to retire.

Lakewood (SC): Lakewood HS, located in Sumter, SC is looking for an experienced defensive coach (preferably experienced with linebackers). Alcovy (GA): Alcovy HS is in search of experienced, motivated assistant coaches willing to dedicate themselves to the parallel goals of developing young men and the total program advancement through aggressive goal setting, increased expectations and a high level of accountability. Opportunities exist on both sides of the ball and position will be determined by best fit. All candidates must have or be able to acquire a Georgia teaching certificate. All certifications will be considered but there are no available PE positions at this time. Coaches with OL, LB or Special Teams experience are a high priority. Irwin County (GA):Irwin County High School in Ocilla, GA is looking for a game on Sept 4 or Sept 11. If interested please email Coach Soliday at We are also looking for a scrimmage game on August 7 or August 14.

Gainesville (FL): Dock Pollard, a former Florida defensive back, has been named head coach. Pollard spent the last two seasons as the head coach at Santa Fe HS (FL).

Riley (IN): Defensive coordinator Justin Kinzie has been promoted to head coach.

Academy (TX): Head coach Paul Williams plans to retire at the end of the school year unless another opportunity presents itself, Nick Canizales reports.

Guymon (OK): Dallas Carter HS (TX) associate head coach / defensive coordinator Kenny Wooten has been announced as the new head coach.

Masters of Sports Administration:Upper Iowa’s MSA degree provides learners with the current theories, concepts, and learning models necessary to assume administrative, coaching and leadership roles in high school, higher education and sports business settings. The online degree is available with emphasis in Sports Management or Coaching & Leadership Education.

East Ridge (Clermont, FL): East Ridge HS in Clermont, FL is looking for an experienced OL coach. We have an immediate opening in Social Studies. Looking for someone who is a great teacher on the field and the classroom. We are looking to interview and hire immediately. McEachern (GA): McEachern HS, located in Metro Atlanta, is seeking a defensive coordinator with secondary experience. The candidate must be certified to teach in the state of Georgia or gain certification. Lakeridge (OR): Lakeridge High School in Lake Oswego, Oregon has an opening for a Head Football Coach. Lakeridge is a part of the Lake Oswego School District which is ranked as the top district in the state boasting a 96% graduation rate. We have newly renovated weight room and are in the process of building a new covered stadium that will open this spring. The facility has in addition to the turfed varsity game field, and additional turf field which will have lights installed this winter. The program boasts a robust youth program and has excellent community support. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate their ability to lead an education-based football program that excels at maximizing the potential of their program on the football field as well as enriching the overall educational experience and personal growth of our student-athletes. We are currently in the process of forecasting for next year and should be able to identify in-building licensed and classified positions within the next few weeks. Specifically, Guymon Public Schools is looking for coaches that understand the importance of building a collaborative relationship with the community, creating enthusiasm with our youth, the importance of implementing a rigorous strength and conditioning program; and to developing our student-athletes to instill a culture of competition, service, and post secondary success. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with students of diversity, and has experience developing programs to compete at the highest levels.
