AstroTurf: National high school football powerhouse is building a showcase stadium, and a global icon will take center stage. St. John Bosco, the 2016 Open Division California State Champions, have officially selected AstroTurf® as the playing surface for their new football stadium. The stadium is scheduled to open in summer of 2018.

USA Football: USA Football announced today the hiring of MIKE KRUEGER to serve as its director of coaching. Krueger joins USA Football following four years as Aurora (Colo.) Public Schools’ district athletic director. Throughout his 26 years of service in public education Krueger has held several leadership roles and committee appointments with the Colorado High School Activities Association, the Colorado Athletic Directors Association (CADA) and the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA). His work will involve USA Football’s adaption of the U.S. Olympic Committee’s American Development Model for football, USA Football’s medical and football advisory committees and coaching education projects.

New London (CT): Alumnus Johnny Burns has been named head coach of the program.

Salmen (LA): Jerry Leonard has stepped down to move into an administrative role.

Jenks (OK): Defensive coordinator Keith Riggs has been promoted to head coach, replacing former head coach Allan Trimble.

Alonso (FL): Alonso HS is currently accepting resumes to fill two offensive coaching vacancies. As you may know, Alonso High School is an 8A program located in western Hillsborough County, FL. The ideal candidate will be high energy, experience teaching zone concepts from the spread, and understand how to reach today’s kids. Certified teachers are strongly encouraged to apply. Philip Simmons (SC): Philip Simmons HS is in search of a varsity offensive line coach who has a social studies or math certification. The ability to coach multiple sports (emphasis on Wrestling) is preferred but not required. At this time, we will have NO other teaching vacancies for the upcoming school year. Pepperell (GA): Pepperell is no longer accepting applications for their open position on staff.

IMG Academy (FL): IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL has openings for both an Offensive Line Coach, and an assistant video coordinator in intern type capacities. These two jobs involve working with our summer youth camps along with assisting with our Academy team in the fall. The jobs start on June 6th and extends through the end of the season in November. Richmond Senior (NC): Richmond Senior HS is in need of JV/9th Grade football coaches. Our 9th grade and JV staffs are stand alone staffs who have the opportunity to gameplan and develop independently. The opportunities are on the defensive side and include calling the defense. Many second sports are available for additional supplements as well. This is a great place to start and build your career or to wind it down but still contribute significantly. In addition there are several open spots in the area middle schools if you are interested in mentoring young men and giving back to such a great game. All certification fields other than PE will be considered countywide. Consider coming and being a part of a great small town community with excellent football tradition. Americus Sumter (GA): Americus Sumter High School in Americus, GA. has a Elementary P.E. position and assistant football coaching vacancy! Waynesville (MO): Waynesville HS is seeking 2 coaching positions for the 2018 season. Experience with 3-4 Def. scheme, DBs, LBs, RBs, and Special Teams are the primary areas of need.
