Grad transfers: College coaches used to look almost exclusively to junior college to fill short term holes; but take a look at the explosive growth in number of grad transfers over the past few years. Times are changing...
Coldspring (TX): Offensive coordinator Jim Bird has been promoted to head coach / athletic director.
Denham Springs (LA): Denham Springs High School in Denham Springs, La. is looking for a Varsity Level Running Backs Coach. Potential applicants must have or be able to obtain a Louisiana Certification in the area of Physical Education. Applicant must have extensive knowledge of running back play within the pro style offense. This is an immediate opening. Avon (CT): Avon has named Jeff Redman its head coach. This will be Redman's second stint at Avon.

Salisbury (NC): Salisbury HS is in search of a teacher and assistant football coach. Coaching position is flexible on either side of ball. Current teaching positions available are ESL and math.
