Ironwood Ridge (AZ): Ironwood Ridge is looking for coaches at all levels for the 2021-2022 season. Positions include: Freshmen HC, JV Assistants and Varsity Assistants. These are stipends positions. Currently there are no teaching positions, but we anticipate openings in the fall. Prior coaching experience is preferred, but not required. Applicants must possess exceptional leadership qualities, communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to game plan and breakdown film. Whitney (Rocklin, CA): Whitney HS is looking for varsity assistant coaches. Specifically an experienced offensive line coach, wide receivers, and defensive assistant. This is a stipend position. Email resumes to zmcnally@rocklinusd.org
Haywood (TN): Haywood HS is seeking qualified assistant coach applicants to join our program. There are English, Math, and History positions that we know are available beginning in August. We also anticipate other openings and will know more as the year ends. Haywood is a 4A program and is coming off of a 4A State Title appearance in 2020, as well as 4 straight semi-final appearances and 2 State Title appearances since 2017.
Jerome (ID): Jerome HS in Jerome, Idaho has an opening for a defensive assistant coach. Preferred experience with linebackers, but have ability to move staff responsibilities around if need be. Brantley County (GA): Brantley County has a varsity assistant opening available for the 2021 fall season. Teaching slot is SS / ELA / SPED / or SPED Lab (ideal gig). No PE at this time. Newaygo (MI): Per source, Alma College (D-III - MI) offensive line coach Mike Allison will be the new head coach / athletic director at Newaygo, pending school board approval.
Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC): Dixon HS has an opening for an assistant coach that has Social Studies certification. There are also other teaching positions available but NO PE currently. Position group is flexible and looking for best fit. Preference will be given to candidate that can coach football AND basketball. Opportunity for Head JV basketball could be available to right candidate. Dixon is located 12 miles from North Topsail Beach. We are looking for coaches that are hardworking, energetic, and dedicated to promoting a positive culture. River City (CA): River City HS in West Sacramento is looking to hire a Varsity Head Coach for the 2021-2022 football season. It will be a clean slate for developing your coaching staff from the ground up. We will have every varsity, jv, and freshman position open for you to create your vision and develop our culture moving forward with this program. The roles and responsibilities will include off-season conditioning, weekly grade checks, player/parent meetings, coaches meetings, professional development classes, player/coaching evaluations, camps/clinics, and other events involved with coaching high school football. At this time various teaching positions will be available as well as campus security monitor positions. The stipend will be $4000 with longevity bonus built in with how long you're in charge of the program. Previous coaching experience is preferred. River City High School is a D2 high school in West Sacramento with a student population of 2,200 kids. We are the only high school in the district with 8 middle schools and a Jr. Football program we are well connected with. We compete in the Metro League in Sacramento. Masters of Sports Administration: Upper Iowa’s MSA degree provides learners with the current theories, concepts, and learning models necessary to assume administrative, coaching and leadership roles in high school, higher education and sports business settings. The online degree is available with emphasis in Sports Management or Coaching & Leadership Education.
Pinecrest (GA): Pinecrest Academy, a K-12 Catholic School in Cumming, GA is looking for varsity assistant football coaches. Defensive coordinator as well as another defensive assistant. (DB or LB). Teaching positions now include PE (Strength & Conditioning), History, Math, Science and SPED. Must be a Georgia certified teacher (or eligible) for all of the teaching openings. We are located about an hour south of Washington, DC, and are looking to continue a tradition of winning this fall.
