Bay Area Christian (TX): Bay Area Christian School has an opening for a Head Football Coach. The ideal applicant would be able to teach Weightlifting/PE/History or possibly facilitate a development position. Franklin (MA): The Franklin HS strength and conditioning staff is seeking a part time assistant/intern strength and conditioning coach. The candidate must be highly motivated, self-starting & hardworking. This is a highly hands on position. Approximately 300-400 in-season and off-season student athletes utilize the weight room during the winter/spring season as well as our powerlifting club. Duties will include assisting the strength and conditioning staff with all aspects of the athletic performance program as well as daily maintenance of weight room and facilities. Hours would run approximately 2-5 Monday-Friday (off during vacation weeks). The position would start Dec 7 and run through mid March. There is a stipend of $1000. If chosen for this opportunity you will gain valuable experience, be educated on training. philosophy, Powerlifting/Olympic lifting, speed/agility modalities, and how to structure and execute a successful strength and conditioning program. Minimum qualifications: Strong work ethic and desire to become a strength and conditioning professional. Candidates should have or be working towards attaining their bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field and at least one of the following Certifications or in the process of acquiring these certifications: CSCS, SCCC. Preferred qualifications: Prior experience, Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree or enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s program, CSCS.
