Braden River High School (Bradenton, FL.): Braden River is currently looking for a varsity offensive or defensive line coach that is also certified to teach either ESE, or Mathematics 9-12. Wentworth Military Academy (MO): Wentworth Military Academy (wma.edu) is accepting applications for the position of Head High School Football Coach and Admissions Counselor. Applicants must have a Bachelors Degree (Masters Degree preferred) and three to five years coaching experience on the collegiate or private high school level. EOE. Bridgton Academy (ME): Bridgton is an independent, all-male postgraduate boarding school. The Academy's mission is to provide a program for young men in a unique, one-year postgraduate environment to prepare for the rigors of college and beyond. The Academy is in its 203rd year of providing exceptional academic, residential, and co-curricular growth for its students. Bridgton seeks an energetic assistant football coach (offense preferred)/teaching intern for the 2012-2013 academic year. At present, hiring priorities include applicants with strong verbal and interpersonal skills as well as intercollegiate playing or coaching experience with football. The Intern position is an academic-year appointment: August 15, 2012–May 15, 2013. Compensation includes stipend, residence hall accommodations, school term meals, and school vacations. BA teams regularly compete against college junior varsity teams and top prep school teams in the northeast. Colleges such as Dartmouth, Yale, Brown, Curry and Springfield, as well as Navy Prep are just a sampling of the opponents we schedule throughout the year. This type of exposure, especially with college coaching staffs, will be beneficial to student-athletes preparing for college. Bridgton's internship program is designed to serve as an introduction to and preparation for the teaching profession, especially in the private, boarding school environment. The internship includes classroom teaching, coaching, and residential life leadership experience. Interns will receive structured support, professional development, and career advice from faculty mentors.
