Please join us in keeping the family of longtime Pickens Academy (AL) coach Ted Copland in your prayers. Coach Copland passed away recently after a battle with cancer. Copland coached for over 45 seasons and won state titles as an assistant at a number of schools.

Signal Mountain (TN): Signal Mountain HS is searching for a Varsity football coach. Teaching position will be middle school history. We are looking for a detail oriented coach that will contribute during off-season, spring and summer workouts. Expect to work weekends during the season, breaking down opponent film, produce scouting reports and opponent play cards for the next week’s team. Ideally the candidate should have experience coaching LBs or offensive line, but all candidates are encouraged to apply. Gregory-Portland (TX): Cameron Yoe (TX) HSRick Rhoades, who oversaw three state titles with the program, is leaving for the head coaching job at Gregory-Portland HS (TX).

Westview (AZ): Tonopah Valley HS (AZ) head coach Nick Gehrts has accepted the head coaching job.

Hartford (MI): Hope College (D-III - MI) running backs coach Ben Kain will be the new head coach at Hartford, per sources.

Navasota (TX): Following a recent contract extension, head coach Lee Fedora has decided to resign.

Madera (CA): Bullard HS (CA) defensive coordinator Yosef Fares has been named head coach.

Monte Alto (TX): Assistant coach Osiel Canales has been promoted to head coach / athletic director.

Harlingen South (TX): Richmond George Ranch (TX) offensive coordinator Brian Ricci has been hired as the team's new head coach / athletic coordinator. Ricci spent the past seven seasons at George Ranch HS.

Ramapo (NJ): Ramapo High School, a suburban high school of about 1,100 students located in Northern New Jersey, 20 miles from New York City is looking for games the weekend of September 23rd and October 28th, would prefer to host. Contact head coach Drew Gibbs at

Delaware County Christian (PA): The program is seeking position coaches. The biggest needs are DB, QB, OL but all positions will be considered. For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to coordinate. Housing may be available. The staff can adjust based upon candidates strengths. Current teaching openings are in English, Biology/Chemistry, & Spanish but more subjects may become available later in spring. DCCS is coming off a 10 win league championship season as a class A school in Newtown Square, PA, a western Philadelphia suburb. Lancaster (CA): Lancaster HS is looking for qualified assistant coaches. To obtain this, we are starting an internship program. Our goal is to hire young men who are looking to obtain their Masters degree, have college playing experience and are recommend by college coaches. Our program plans to develop these men in the same manner most colleges train graduate assistant. The coaches will learn and perform film analyst, game planning, develop weekly/daily practice plans, understand human body movement, organize equipment, manage personnel, support student-athlete academics, and teach strength/conditioning. These men will learn about the 60 plus weekly hours required to develop a winning program. While working for Lancaster, they will potentially earn financial support primarily as substitute teachers in our school district which will require pre-qualification.
