Iowa parts way with longtime director of strength and conditioning Chris Doyle (Featured)

Iowa has announced a separation agreement between director of strength and conditioning Chris Doyle and the school, effective today.

Doyle, who had been a member of Kirk Ferentz's first staff in Iowa City in 1999, was the highest paid strength coach in college football. Raimond Braithwaite will continue as interim director of the football strength and conditioning program.

Brett McMurphy adds that Doyle will recieve $1.11 million buyout and full health benefits for the next 15 months as part of the settlement agreement.

Director of athletics Gary Barta will meet with media at 2pm EST.
