After 13 seasons leading the program, head coach Jeff Knarr has decided the time has come to step down.
The decision comes after the veteran coach led the Monarchs to one of their best season in school history, notching an 8-3 season last fall.
In the school's release of the news, they share that Knarr is stepping down after three decades "to transition to a role that will enable him to utilize his coaching and recruiting skill set, while still having the ability to spend more time with his family."
He took over a program that went 3-9 in the year prior to his arrival, and built it up while rewriting the offensive record books.
A national search for his replacement is underway.
