Ragno Due I Banana. That's "Spider 2 Y Banana" in Italian, something Jon Gruden will have to learn as a new advisor to the Milano Seamen. (Fun fact: the letter Y does not exist in the Italian language.)
Gruden has not coached since his mid-season dismissal from the Las Vegas Raiders, but served as a consultant for the New Orleans Saints last season.
There was belief by those within or near the organization that his unofficial role would blossom into a full-time coaching role in New Orleans, but that obviously did not happen. Saints head coach Dennis Allen promoted Klint Kubiak to offensive coordinator last month.
Gruden's lawsuit against Roger Goodell and the NFL is still ongoing.
And so Gruden, viewed untouchable by NFL teams at this time and quite possibly for good, has taken a job as an advisor for the 5-time Italian Bowl champions.
The Seamen open their season May 25 against the Tirol Raiders of Austria.
Weβre excited to announce that American football legend, Jon Gruden, will work with us as advisor. Gruden won in 2002 Super Bowl with Tampa Bay. Gruden will help us to improve our organization in every aspect. He already started to work with our coaching staff πͺπ»βοΈ pic.twitter.com/semPyZyh9h

For those curious, the Milano Seamen compete in the European League of Football; Estra Guelfi Firenze, the team Art Briles previously coached for, plays in the Italian Football League.
Mi piace questo ragazzo, amico. That's "I like this guy, man" in Italian.
