LSU signs two assistant to new multi-year deals and raises (Frank Wilson)

Following a season where LSU was the home to the Heisman winner and second overall pick of the NFL Draft, and the most exciting offensive attack since their national title run, two key assistants were entering the last year of their deals.

Earlier today, LSU approved contracts and pay bumps for both offensive line coach Brad Davis and running backs coach Frank Wilson, per The Advocate.

Both assistants are now signed through the 2026 season.

Davis will earn an average of $940k per year (after being scheduled to make $870k this fall) over the next three seasons while Wilson has earned a pay bump from $950k last season to $1 million this season and a jump to $1.2 million the final year of the deal.

The new deals provide stability to an offensive staff that lost offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock to Notre Dame this off season, as quarterbacks coach Joe Sloan steps into the play caller role.
