Maryland is set to hire Henry Baker as its cornerbacks coach, according to a report Wednesday from Inside MD Sports.
Baker replaces Cory Robinson, who left in March to take a job as a defensive assistant with the New Orleans Saints.
A former Maryland defensive back himself, Baker was the assistant defensive backs coach for the New York Giants last season. He coached corners at Rutgers in 2018 and North Carolina in 2017.
Baker's hiring was delayed until June because of a university-wide hiring freeze, according to the report.
Maryland finished 98th nationally in pass efficiency defense in 2019, Locksley's first as head coach. The Terps finished 3-9.
