Millikin (D-III - IL) has announced their decision to part ways with head coach Carlton Hall.
In three years under Hall, the program has gone 4-23.
The Big Blue, who play in the ultra-competitive CCIW, have opened the season 0-7 and are mired in a 17-game losing streak.
To find the program's last win, you'd have to go back to the final game of the 2022 season, a 17-6 win over Carthage. That year they finished with four wins.
The 2023 campaign resulted in an 0-10 record.
Prior to landing the head coaching job, Hall spent two seasons as the team's defensive coordinator.
A well traveled assistant coach, Hall has coached in the Ivy League at Columbia (WRs), Harvard (DL) and Yale (AHC / DL) and also at the major college level (Houston). He spent a few seasons at Southern Oregon coaching the linebackers before landing the Millikin defensive coordinator job in 2020.
Assistant athletic director and assistant coach Patrick Allgeier, who has spent 28-years with the school, will step in as the team's interim head coach for the final three games of the year.
The school notes that a search for a new leader will begin at the end of the season.
Millikin's opening marks the first at the Division III level of this cycle.
