These 12 teams are winning more plays than anyone in college football

The fastest way to win a football game, as we've proven, is to win the turnover battle. But there is another sure fire way to win a game, and we'll call it the long way: win play after play after play after play.

There's nothing at all novel about this concept, but I thought I'd point out the 12 teams that are winning plays on an extreme level. These 12 teams -- with a combined record 38-2 -- carry a yards per play differential of 2.50 or greater. This means their average yards gained is more than two and a half yards ahead of what they allow on a typical play.

The 12 teams on here may surprise you, but as long as they stay so far ahead of their opponents on a down-to-down basis, they'll keep winning at this insane clip.
