AAC

Cincinnati - Offensive coordinator Eddie Gran and quarterbacks coach Darin Hinshaw have left to join Kentucky's staff.

UConn -

East Carolina - Duke wide receivers coach Scottie Montgomery will be the new head coach at ECU. His assistant coaching staff consists of Phil McGeoghan (WRs), Kenwick Thomson (DC), Deke Adams (DL), Rick Smith (DBs), and Terrell Smith (DFO). Shannon Moore has been hired to coordinate the special teams. Tony Petersen has accepted the offensive coordinator position. MTSU offensive line coach Geep Wade is joining ECU in the same capacity.

Houston - Tom Herman has landed a raise to $3 million annually, with an extra $200,000 added to the assistant salary pool. Wide receivers coach Drew Mehringer will be the new offensive coordinator at Rutgers, and director of football recruiting Adrian Mayes is leaving to become the co-OC / RBs coach / recruiting coordinator at James Madison (FCS - VA).

Memphis - Mike Norvell has been hired as the new head coach. His staff will consist of; Chris Ball (DC), Chip Long (OC / TEs), Darrell Dickey (assistant HC / RBs), David Johnson (WRs), Dan Lanning (ILBs / recruiting coordinator), Joe Lorig (OLBs / STC), Paul Randolph (DL), Ryan Silverfield (OL), Marcus Woodson (corners), and Josh Storms (strength and conditioning). STAFF IS COMPLETE.

SMU -

South Florida - Willie Taggart has landed a three-year extension that locks him up through 2020, worth a total of $9 million.

Temple - Matt Rhule has signed a contract extension keeping him at Temple through 2021. Offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield has left to become the head coach at Tennessee Tech. Graduate assistants Bobby Maffei (defense) and Derek Carr (offense) are heading to Tennessee Tech with Satterfield.

Tulane - Curtis Johnson has been let go and Georgia Southern head coach Willie Fritz has been hired as the new head coach. Fritz is brining a number of assistants from Georgia Southern with him, including; Doug Ruse (OC / QBs), Alex Atkins (OL), Jack Curtis (DC / secondary), Kevin Peoples (DL), and Mike Mutz (LBs). Fritz has retained Jason Rollins (secondary). The two open positions are tight ends and receivers. Mike Krysl is joining the staff from Georgia Southern as special teams analyst.

Tulsa - Co-offensive coordinator Sterlin Gilbert has been hired as the offensive coordinator at Texas and Matt Mattox is going with him as offensive line coach. Quality control assistant / assistant offensive line coach Matt Bloesch has been promoted to offensive line coach, and the other open position will be filled after their bowl game (December 26th).

UCF - Oregon offensive coordinator Scott Frost has been hired as the new head coach. Mario Verduzo is joining the staff as quarterbacks coach. We also hear that Colorado receivers coach / recruiting coordinator Troy Walters is joining the staff. Oregon outside linebackers coach Erik Chinader has accepted the DC post.

ACC

Boston College - Defensive coordinator Don Brown has left to join the Michigan staff in the same role. Secondary coach Kevin Lempa is leaving to become the defensive coordinator at Hawaii, and linebackers coach Sean Duggar is expected to join him in Hawaii.

Clemson -

Duke - Wide receivers coach Scottie Montgomery will be the new head coach at ECU. Assistant director of recruiting Ethan Johnson is heading to ECU as well as director of recruiting.

Florida State -

Georgia Tech - Special teams coordinator Ray Rychleski has left the program after coming to a "mutual decision" with Paul Johnson.

Louisville - Safeties coach Greg Brown has left to become corners coach at Louisville.

Miami - Mark Richt has been hired as the new head coach. Wide receivers coach Kevin Beard will not return. Richt's staff will consist of Thomas Brown (co-offensive coordinator / RBs coach), Todd Hartley (assistant coach / STC), and Craig Kuligowski (DL). Manny Diaz is joining the staff from Mississippi State and will serve as defensive coordinator, former Virginia Tech offensive line coach Stacy Searels will coach the offensive line, and American Heritage HS (FL) head coach Mike Rumph will coach the corners with Ephraim Banda handling the safeties.

NC State - Offensive coordinator Matt Canada has been let go and offensive line coach Mike Uremovich is leaving for the OC job at Northern Illinois. NC State does have an opening for a defensive graduate assistant position.

North Carolina - Offensive coordinator Seth Littrell is the new head coach at North Texas.

Pitt - Pat Narduzzi has received a two-year contract extension through the 2021 season. Offensive coordinator Jim Chaney has left for the same position at Georgia.

Syracuse - Scott Shafer's has coached his final game as head coach. Dino Babers has been hired as his replacement. Many of Babers' assistants from Bowling Green will be joining him including; Brian Ward (DC), Nick Monroe (DBs), Brad Wittke (DFO), Roy Wittke (recruiting coordinator). Sources have relayed to FootballScoop that co-OCs Mike Lynch and Sean Lewis, WRs coach Kim McCloud, TEs coach Tom Freeman, outside receivers coach Andrew Sowder, and STC / DL coach Tom Kaufman will all join the staff as well. Western Michigan running backs coach Mike Hart is joining the staff in the same capacity. Babers has announced also announced Sean Edinger (strength), Jeff Sobol (assistant strength).

Virginia - Mike London and his staff are out. Bronco Mendenhall has been hired as the new head coach and has hired Ruffin McNeill (assistant head coach / inside linebackers), Robert Anae (OC), Mark Atuaia (RBs), Jason Beck (QBs), Garrett Tujague (OL), Nick Howell (DC), and Kelly Poppinga (STC). Bronco retained Marques Hagans (WRs) from the previous staff. Rounding out the staff is Shane Hunter (DL). THE STAFF IS COMPLETE.

Virginia Tech - Justin Fuente is the new head coach. Holman Wiggins (WRs), Vance Vince (OL), and James Shibest (STC) will follow Fuente from Memphis. Fuente has also retained Bud Foster (DC), Torrian Gray (secondary), Charley Wiles (DL) and Zohn Burden (RBs). We understand that Memphis co-OC / QBs coach Brad Cornelson will join the Hokies after their bowl game and Memphis DC Galen Scott is also joining the staff. THE STAFF IS COMPLETE.

Wake Forest - Defensive graduate assistant Tyler Santucci has been hired to coach the outside linebackers.

Big 12

Baylor -

Iowa State - Matt Campbell has been hired. The offensive side is filling up, starting with Alex Golesh (TEs / recruiting coordinator). Campbell brought a couple guys with him from Toledo as well (OC/OL coach Tom Manning, and corners coach DK McDonald, LBs Tyson Veidt, DL coach Eli Rasheed, and TEs coach / STC Bryan Gasser who will coach the receivers). John Kuceyeski will serve as director of scouting. Rudy Wade will serve as strength and conditioning coach. Greg Babenec will serve as DFO. Toledo defensive coordinator Jon Heacock has joined the staff in the same capacity. Jim Hofher is joining the staff as QBs coach from Nevada where he was assistant HC / WRs coach. Also, Markus Alleyne (assistant DFO) has not been retained. Christian Smith (defensive GA), Taylor Mouser (offensive GA), and Jeff Myers (offensive GA) have joined the program after each of them served in similar capacities at Toledo last season. Mark Thurston has joined the staff as assistant director of scouting. Also, Taylor Wilhelm (who served as a video GA at Toledo last year), has joined the staff and his role is specified as Director of New Media. Doug Phillips (director of player personnel) has also joined Campbell.

Kansas - Special teams coach / tight ends coach Gary Hyman will move into a position outside of the 9 full-time guys and former SMU offensive coordinator Jason Phillips will join the staff.

Kansas State - Bill Snyder plans to return in 2016, sources have told FootballScoop.

Oklahoma -

Oklahoma State - Special teams coordinator / graduate assistant Robbie Discher has left for a position on Toledo's staff.

TCU - Doug Meacham and Sonnie Cumbie have turned down a number of opportunities to stay at TCU as co-offensive coordinators. Co-defensive coordinator / linebackers coach DeMontie Cross will be the new defensive coordinator at Missouri.

Texas - Tulsa co-offensive coordinator Sterlin Gilbert is joining Charlie Strong's staff as offensive coordinator, and Matt Mattox is also joining him from Tulsa as offensive line coach. Ken Rucker is retiring after serving in a variety of roles including HS relations and RBs coach.

Texas Tech - Tech will have some openings on the defensive side of the ball (OLB, DL, co-DC). Emmett Jones, who served as director of player development since February, has been promoted to an offensive assistant position with specific role to be determined. Joe Robinson is joining the staff to coordinator the special teams.

West Virginia - Defensive coordinator Tony Gibson signed an amendment to his contract last week that guarantees his compensation for the 2017 season ($700,000).

Big Ten

Illinois - Bill Cubit has signed a two year deal to stay on. DL coach Mike Phair has been promoted to offensive coordinator and Bill's son (Ryan) has added the offensive coordinator title and will continue to coach the quarterbacks. Colorado State-Pueblo (D-II) pass game coordinator / QBs coach Jeff Hecklinski is joining the staff as TEs coach / STC, and former Missouri offensive line coach AJ Ricker will be joining the staff in the same capacity. Multiple reports state that Miami defensive backs coach Paul Williams will join the staff as well. Western Michigan linebackers coach Tim McGarigle is also joining the staff, and Nathan Scheelhaase has been promoted to a full-time position and will coach the running backs..

Indiana - AD Fred Glass and Kevin Wilson are in discussions for a contract extension. Quality control assistant Courtney Messingham will be the new OC at Montana State.

Iowa -

Maryland - DJ Durkin has been hired as head coach. Former UVA head coach Mike London is joining the staff as associate head coach / DL coach, former Syracuse head coach Scot Shafer will be the defensive coordinator, Alabama assistant director of player personnel Aazaar Abdul-Rahim will coach the defensive backs, and Ball State head coach Pete Lembo has joined as special teams coordinator / assistant head coach. Arkansas State OC Walt Bell is joining Durkin's staff in the same capacity. Chris Beatty is joining the staff as receivers coach and Arkansas State running backs coach Anthony Tucker is hopping on board as well.

Michigan - Following the departure of defensive coordinator DJ Durkin to Maryland, Gregg Mattison will call the defense in the Wolverines' bowl game. Don Brown (Boston College DC this past season) has been hired to serve as defensive coordinator moving forward following the bowl game.

Michigan State -

Minnesota - Tracy Claeys has become the head coach, after taking over as interim following Jerry Kill's decision to step down to focus on his health. Claeys has hired Bart Miller (from FAU) to fill the offensive line position, and Jay Johnson (from Louisiana Lafayette) as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach.

Nebraska -

Northwestern -

Ohio State - Co-defensive coordinator Chris Ash been named head coach at Rutgers, and former Tampa Bay Bucs head coach Greg Schiano has been hired to replace him. Recruiting assistant Adam Caltury has accepted the director of recruiting position at Rutgers, and assistant DL coach Vince Oghobaase has joined the staff at James Madison as defensive line coach. Quality control coach Bill Busch has left for the DBs job at Rutgers as well.

Penn State - Offensive coordinator John Donovan has been let go and he has been replace by Fordham (FCS) head coach Joe Moorhead.

Purdue - Tight ends coach Terry Malone has been promoted to offensive coordinator and former Syracuse OC Tim Lester has joined the staff as quarterbacks coach. Former Nebraska linebackers coach Ross Els is joining the staff as defensive coordinator. Former Miami DL coach Randy Melvin will coach the Boilermaker DL.

Rutgers - Kyle Flood has been let go. Ohio State co-defensive coordinator Chris Ash has been hired to lead the program and he has brought in Houston wide receivers coach Drew Mehringer (OC), Vince Okruch (STC), and Ohio State quality control coach, and former FootballScoop Defensive Backs Coach of the Year, Bill Busch who will coach the secondary. Also, Arkansas defensive GA Aaron Henry is joining the staff as assistant defensive backs coach and Rick Mantz has been added as high school relations.

Wisconsin - Defensive coordinator Dave Aranda has left for the same position at LSU.

Conference USA

Charlotte -

FAU - Travis Trickett is joining the staff as offensive coordinator. OL coach Bart Miller is heading to Minnesota in the same capacity.

FIU - Special teams coordinator Shannon Moore has accepted the same job at East Carolina.

LA Tech - The salary pool for the assistant coaches has been elevated to an all-time high of $1.05 million. Offensive coordinator Tony Petersen has left to become the OC at East Carolina. Wide receivers coach Tim Rattay will move to quarterbacks.

Marshall -

Middle Tennessee - After winning their seventh game of the year, Rick Stockstill earned a y-year contract extension at $800,000 annually. Receivers coach Kodi Burns is heading to Arizona State in the same capacity. OL coach Geep Wade is leaving for the same position at ECU.

North Texas - North Carolina offensive coordinator Seth Littrell has been hired as the new head coach. Washington State outside receivers coach Graham Harrell will be his offensive coordinator, and Wazzu offensive quality control coach Joel Filani will join as receivers coach. Sources tell FootballScoop that former Georgia inside linebackers Mike Ekeler will be the defensive coordinator. Kevin Patrick (DL) and Tommy Perry (RBs / STC) are being retained by Littrell from the previous staff. Memphis CBs coach Troy Reffett will serve as assistant head coach / safeties coach and former Kentucky WRs coach Tommy Mainord will coach the inside receivers. UTSA assistant AD for football Shane Elder will join Littrell's staff in a similar role (DFO).

Old Dominion -

Southern Miss - Offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey has left to become the offensive coordinator at Arizona State. receivers coach John Wozniak has been promoted to offensive coordinator.

UTSA - Head coach Larry Coker has decided to step down. In addition, special teams coordinator / safeties coach Perry Eliano has left to join the Bowling Green staff as associate head coach / defensive coordinator. Offensive coordinator Kevin Brown has been released and defensive coordinator Neal Neathery is leaving to take over as defensive coordinator / linebackers coach at Eastern Michigan.

UTEP - Angelo State (D-II - TX) assistant HC / OC Theron Aych will be the new receivers coach. Wide receivers coach Todd Whitten has accepted the head coaching job at Tarleton State, and this will mark his third time as head coach there.

Western Kentucky - Athletic director Todd Stewart is planning to rework the contract of head coach Jeff Brohm. Offensive coordinator Tyson Helton has left for USC, as has offensive line coach Neil Callaway. Also, assistant director of operations Travis Taylor will join the Georgia Southern staff as DFO.

Independents

Army - Defensive assistants Ray McCartney (DL) and Orlando Mitjans Jr. (corners) are no longer part of the staff.

BYU - Head coach Bronco Mendenhall has left for the head coaching job at UVA and Kalani Sitake is the new head coach. The first member of of Sitake's staff come from Oregon State in LBs coach / STC Illaisa Tuiaki, who will serve as Sitake's DC. Also joining the staff are Ty Detmer (OC / QBs), and Ed Lamb (assistant HC). Defensive grad assistant Shane Hunter has left for BYU.

Notre Dame -

Akron -

Ball State - Head coach Pete Lembo has stepped down to become the assistant head coach / special teams coordinator at Maryland.

Bowling Green - Head coach Dino Babers is the new head coach at Syracuse, and BG has hired Texas Tech running backs coach Mike Jinks as the program's new head coach. Joining him from Texas Tech will be Kevin Kilmer (co-OC), Stephen Hamby (OL), former TTU quarterback Seth Doege as a GA. In addition, Faulkner (NAIA - AL) defensive line coach Marcus White is joining the staff as co-DC / DL coach, UTSA safeties coach / STC Perry Eliano will serve as defensive coordinator / associate head coach, and Texas Lutheran (D-III) offensive coordinator / QBs coach Andy Padron will be co-offensive coordinator. Mike Mickens (corners) will remain on staff, and Ryan Downard (Cleveland Browns coaching assistant) will serve as chief of staff.

Buffalo -

Central Michigan -

Eastern Michigan - Defensive coordinator Brad McCaslin will not return as defensive coordinator. UTSA defensive coordinator Neal Neathery will be the new defensive coordinator / linebackers coach.

Kent State - Paul Haynes is expected to promote linebackers coach Ben Needham to defensive coordinator. We hear he already has his guy in mind for the open defensive line position.

UMass -

Miami (OH) -

Northern Illinois - A number of changes are happening at NIU. Bob Cole will not return as offensive coordinator and NC State offensive line coach Mike Uremovich is being hired to take his place. Also, defensive coordinator Jay Niemann is leaving for Rutgers, and linebackers coach Ross Watson is joining the staff at Toledo.

Ohio - Frank Solich does not plan to retire.

Toledo - Offensive coordinator Jason Candle has been hired to replace Matt Campbell (who left to become the new head coach at Iowa State). Former Heidelberg (D-III - OH) head coach Mike Hallett has joined the staff as OL coach. Maryland director of player personnel Cory Robinson will coach the defensive backs and NIU linebackers coach Ross Watson is joining the staff. Per local reports, former Kent State defensive coordinator Brian George is joining the Rockets staff in the same capacity. Defensive coordinator Jon Heacock is heading to Iowa State to join Matt Campbell.

Western Michigan - PJ Fleck is about to receive a huge extension. Linebackers coach Tim McGarigle is joining Bill Cubit's staff at Illinois, and defensive line coach Vinson Reynolds and running backs coach Mike Hart are both heading to Syracuse.

Mountain West

Air Force -

Boise State - Bryan Harsin has added another year to his contract by winning 8 games. Harsin's contract is worth at least $1.85 million annually currently. Defensive backs coach Julian Brown is no longer part of the staff.

Colorado State -

Fresno State - Offensive coordinator Dave Schramm's contract was not renewed. Defensive coordinator Nick Toth is being reassigned within the staff. Former South Carolina defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward is expected to become the new DC on staff (deal not finalized). Marcus Woodson, who coached the secondary last season, is leaving for the corners job at Memphis, per reports. Eric Kiesau will be the new offensive coordinator.

Hawaii - Nevada OC Nick Rolovich has been hired as head coach. Jake Cookus (STC), Chris Naeole (OL) and Abe Elimimian (DBs) have been retained. Occidental College (D-III - CA) offensive coordinator Brian Smith is joining the staff as an offensive assistant. Zak Hill will serve as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach and Montana defensive line coach Legi Suiaunoa is joining the staff as a defensive assistant (likely defensive line). Kevin Lempa will be the DC and Boston College's Sean Duggar is expected to come with him as linebackers coach.

Nevada - Offensive coordinator Nick Rolovich is leaving to become head coach at Hawaii, and the team and OL coach Ron Hudson have mutually agreed to part ways. Former Montana State offensive coordinator Tim Cramsey has been tabbed the new OC, and Florida ST quality control coach Marc Nudelberg is expected to join the staff as TEs coach / STC. Assistant head coach / WRs coach Jim Hofher is leaving to join the Iowa State staff. We expect Lester Erb to move to receivers.

New Mexico - Former Iowa State defensive ends coach Stan Eggen is expected to join the staff, filling the staff's only opening.

San Diego State -

San Jose State - Defensive coordinator Greg Robinson has announced his retirement and James Jones (DL), Kirk Jones (DFO), and Joe Staab (OLBs) will not return. New Mexico defensive line coach Barry Sacks is joining the staff in a similar capacity.

UNLV -

Utah State - Offensive coordinator Josh Heupel has left for the same position at Missouri and defensive line coach Ikaika Malloe is heading to Washington in the same capacity. Defensive coordinator Kevin Clune is leaving for the same post at Oregon State. Also, safeties coach Joe Lorig is leaving for Memphis.

Wyoming - Offensive graduate assistant (TEs) Shane LaDage has been named WRs coach at Minot State.

Pac 12

Arizona - Corners coach David Lockwood will not return and analyst Jahmile Addae is being promoted to take the position. Defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Jeff Casteel and defensive line coach Bill Kirelawich will not return as well.

Arizona State - Offensive coordinator Mike Norvell has left for the head coaching job at Memphis and ASU has hired Southern Miss offensive coordinator Chip Linsey to replace him. Assistant AD for Championship Life Paul Randolph is joining Mike Norvell at Memphis. The Sun Devils are hiring MTSU WRs coach Kodi Burns to coach the running backs and current RBs coach Josh Martin will coach tight ends moving forward.

Cal - Sonny Dykes has earned a four-year contract extension taking him through 2019 with an average salary of $2.825 million annually.

Colorado - Wide receivers coach / recruiting coordinator Troy Walters is joining Scott Frost's staff at UCF and Toby Neinas is no longer part of the staff.

Oregon - Quarterbacks coach Scott Frost has left to become the new head coach at UCF. Wide receivers coach Matt Lubick is being promoted to the OC role. Outside linebackers coach Erik Chinader has left to become the defensive coordinator for Scott Frost at UCF. Defensive coordinator Don Pellum will move to linebackers coach and the search for a new DC in Eugene has begun.

Oregon State - Utah State defensive coordinator Kevin Klune and Weber State secondary coach Cory Hall are expected to join the staff.

Stanford - David Shaw is very happy at Stanford and we do not expect him to move on to the NFL anytime soon.

UCLA -

USC - Clay Helton has had the interim tag lifted as has been appointed USC's full-time had coach. WKU offensive coordinator Tyson Helton (pass game coordinator / running backs) and Neil Callaway (OL) have been added to the staff.

Utah - Wide receivers coach Taylor Stubblefield will not return. Also, Defensive coordinator / defensive line coach John Pease is retiring and Morgan Scalley (who coached the safeties the past eight seasons) is being promoted to DC to replace him.

Washington - Chris Petersen has been extended through 2020. Bush Hamdan has been promoted to WRs coach, Bob Gregory will take over special teams coordinator duties, Ikaika Malloe will coach the defensive line, and DBs coach Jimmy Lake has been promoted to co-defensive coordinator. DFO Mike McHugh will not return.

Washington State - Mike Leach has signed a contract extension through 2020, and defensive coordinator Alex Grinch and assistant head coach/defensive line coach Joe Salave’a have also signed multi-year contracts. Quality control coach Joel Filani is joining Seth Littrell's staff at UNT, as is outside receivers coach Graham Harrell.

SEC

Alabama - Lane Kiffin plans to return as OC next season. Defensive coordinator Kirby Smart has been hired as the head coach at Georgia. Jeremy Pruitt has joined the staff as DC. A number of off-field staffers are landing elsewhere including director of player development Glenn Schumann (Georgia), assistant director of player personnel Aazaar Abdul-Rahim (Maryland - DBs), graduate assistant Dan Lanning (Memphis), analyst Eric Kiesau (Fresno State - OC). Strength coach Scott Cochran is staying put and will receive a raise to around the $600,000 range.

Arkansas - Offensive line coach Sam Pittman is joining Kirby Smart's staff at Georgia and defensive graduate assistant Aaron Henry is joining the staff at Rutgers as assistant defensive backs coach.

Auburn - Defensive coordinator Will Muschamp is the new head coach at South Carolina. Defensive backs coach Travaris Robinson is leaving Auburn to join him, as is offensive analyst Bobby Bentley and defensive analyst Kyle Krantz. LBs coach Lance Thompson will also be joining Muschamp. LSU defensive coordinator Kevin Steele has joined the staff as DC.

Florida - Special teams quality control coach Marc Nudelberg is expected to join the Nevada staff as RBs coach / STC.

Georgia - Mark Richt is no longer the head coach at the University of Georgia and Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart has been hired to replace him. Smart has hired Arkansas offensive line coach Sam Pittman, Alabama director of player development and associate director of player personnel Glenn Schumann (assistant coaching role TBD), and Pitt offensive coordinator Jim Chaney (OC). Also joining the staff are James Coley (WRs), Dell McGee (RBs), and Marshall Malchow (director of recruiting). Shane Beamer will coach the tight ends and coordinate special teams.

Kentucky - Offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson and wide receivers coach Tommy Mainord will not return next season. Mike Stoops has hired Cincinnati's Eddie Gran (assistant HC of offense / offensive coordinator) and Darin Hinshaw (co-offensive coordinator / QBs) to take their place. Defensive backs coach Derrick Ansley been promoted to co-defensive coordinator.

LSU - Les is coming back; but some staff changes are likely. DC Kevin Steele has left for the same position at Auburn and Les has hired Wisconsin defensive coordinator Dave Aranda as his replacement. A contract extension is being worked on for Cam Cameron.

Mississippi State - Defensive coordinator Manny Diaz has left for the same position at Miami and defensive quality control coach Ephraim Banda is heading South with him.

Missouri - Defensive coordinator Barry Odom has been promoted to head coach. Andy Hill (QBs), and Cornell Ford (corners), Ryan Walters (safeties) are being retained. TCU co-defensive coordiantor / linebackers coach DeMontie Cross will be the new defensive coordinator. Josh Heupel has been announced as offensive coordinator. Louisville safeties coach Greg Brown has been hired to coach the corners.

Ole Miss -

South Carolina - Will Muschamp is the new head coach. Auburn defensive backs coach Travaris Robinson is joining the staff as defensive coordinator, and Auburn offensive analyst Bobby Bentley will coach the running backs. Shawn Elliott has been retained and Jeff Dillman will serve as strength and conditioning coach. Former running back Marcus Lattimore is joining the staff in an advisory role to work with the players' lives outside of football. Muschamp expects to make his final on-field hire (OLBs) by next week. Former defensive coordinator Ellis Johnson will work as an analyst on staff and Jessica Jackson has joined as on-campus recruiting director. Jacksonville State co-defensive coordinator / LBs coach David Blackwell is a strong candidate to join the staff, we hear.

Tennessee - Butch Jones has received a raise ($500k) and is signed through 2020. Tight ends coach / STC Mark Elder has accepted the head coaching job at Eastern Kentucky (FCS). Miami interim head coach Larry Scott has been hired to replace Elder.

Texas A&M - Offensive coordinator Jake Spavital will not return.

Vanderbilt - STC Charles Bankins, OL coach Keven Lightner, and director of player development Al Smith will not return next year. Associate head coach / linebackers coach Kenwick Thompson is joining ECU's staff as defensive coordinator and former All SEC linebacker Chris Marve is being promoted to take his place. Camron Norcross is expected to join the staff as offensive line coach.

Appalachian State -

Arkansas State - OC Walt Bell has left for the same position at Maryland. Running backs coach Anthony Tucker is also headed to Maryland in the same role.

Georgia Southern - Head coach Willie Fritz is leaving for the head coaching job at Tulane. Colorado State defensive coordinator Tyson Summers has been named head coach. We understand that TEs coach / recruiting coordinator Chad Lunsford will be part of the new staff. A number of assistants on Willie Fritz's staff are leaving for Tulane including; Doug Ruse (OC / QBs), Alex Atkins (OL), Jack Curtis (DC / secondary), Kevin Peoples (DL), and Mike Mutz (LBs). Valdosta State (D-II - GA) head coach David Dean plans to accept a senior position on staff as well. Director of player developemtn Mike Krysl, who coached the special teams for the bowl game, is heading to Tulane and Furman defensive line coach Jimmy Lindsey will join the GSU staff as DL coach.

Louisiana Lafayette - Offensive coordinator Jay Johnson is leaving Hud's staff for the same position in Minnesota.

Louisiana Monroe - McNeese State (FCS - LA) head coach Matt Viator has been named head coach. Stephen F. Austin offensive coordinator Matt Kubik will join his staff as OC / QBs caoch. From McNeese State, Viator is bringing Tim Leger (co-OC / WRs coach), Slade Nagel (STC / RBs), Manny Michel (DL), and Chris Hampton (DBs). Mike Collins has been announced as assistant head coach / defensive coordinator / linebacker coach

New Mexico State - Assistant head coach / corners coach R. Todd Littlejohn will not return.

South Alabama -

Texas State - Head coach Dennis Franchione has decided to retire.

Troy - Assistant head coach / special teams coordinator Shayne Wasden has retired from coaching after coaching inside the state of Alabama for 24 seasons.
