Following a loss to Western Kentucky in early November, Chad Morris was let go at Arkansas.
He left the Razorbacks less than two years after being hired with an overall record of just 4-18, with no SEC wins among those four victories.
The search included a number of quality candidates that eventually ended with the hire of Georgia offensive line coach Sam Pittman. Wide receivers coach Justin Stepp was the lone holdover from the previous staff.
On January 6th, Pittman formally announced four additions to finalize his inaugural staff. The assistant coach salary pool will be a program record of just over $5 million [Salary details provided via a report from Whole Hog Sports]. The previous staff under Chad Morris had a salary pool of just over $4.9 million.
