After just two seasons, and a 4-18 start to his tenure that included no SEC wins, Arkansas decided to move on from Chad Morris on November 10th.
Following a process where they vetted a number of candidates, the Razorbacks eventually decided on Georgia offensive line coach Sam Pittman about a month later, just a week before early National Signing Day.
As a first-year head coach, Pittman has made some really quality hires on his first staff - especially at the coordinator spots in Kendal Briles and Barry Odom (who will bring valuable SEC head coaching experience with him). The lone holdover from the Chad Morris tenure was wide receivers coach Justin Stepp.
The total salary pool for the 10 on-field assistants is $5.025 million, which is just more than Arkansas committed to Chad Morris' staff in 2019 ($4.915). All salary info via Whole Hog Sports.
