A uniform, in theory, is supposed to be about the team wearing it. But sometimes it becomes more about the company manufacturing it.
Today was one of those days, as seemingly every school in the Under Armour portfolio dropped throwback uniforms at once. Let’s fly through them all, shall we?
Let’s start in the Big Ten, where Northwestern and Wisconsin will don similar throwbacks opposite each other for their game on Sept. 28. Wisconsin was previously roped into similar shenanigans when Adidas would dress Bucky and Nebraska in wacky kits at the same time.

Elsewhere in the Big Ten, Maryland will throw it back to the 1980s for the homecoming game against Michigan on Nov. 2.

Staying in the 1980s, Notre Dame will wear its ’88 throwbacks against Boston College on Nov. 23, while BC will play like it’s 1984 during a TBA home game.
Tradition never graduates.

South Carolina will also wear black throwbacks under a garnet helmet for an as yet unnamed game this season.

Those are all we’ve got for today. Like ’em, hate ’em, it doesn’t really matter. Either way you’re talking about Under Armour.
