Asked about the Auburn opening, Lane Kiffin has some fun quoting Nick Saban (Featured)

Lane Kiffin has his fair share of fun on social media, and today he took that same approach during his presser leading into Wednesday's early signing period.

Asked about the opening at Auburn following Gus Malzahn's dismissal, Lane Kiffin couldn't help himself. He channeled his inner Nick Saban

"I want to say what I learned from my mentor," Kiffin said.

"If you guys are going to keep asking this, I'm going to have to tell you: I will not be the head coach at Alabama. OK? So stop asking me."

Kiffin, is of course, quoting his mentor's words there from the time that Saban was the head coach of the Dolphins back in December of 2006. Just a few weeks later, in early January, Saban announced he was leaving Miami for the Alabama job. We all know what has happened since then.

Laughs aside, Kiffin shares that there has been no conversations with Auburn, but his name being brought up with it is a product of his players playing well at Ole Miss.

While we're on the topic, here's our update on what we're hearing at Auburn.
