Auburn reportedly losing defensive line coach to the NFL (Jeremy Garrett)

After one season on Hugh Freeze's staff at Auburn, Jeremy Garrett is set to return to the NFL.

Garrett will be the new defensive line coach for the Jaguars, according to a report this evening from Matt Zentiz.

He coached the defensive line for the Tigers last fall.

Before joining the Auburn staff, Garrett served as an assistant defensive line coach for the Browns, so this marks a return to the NFL for the young assistant coach.

For Freeze, it means a continued rebuild on the defensive side of the ball that has seen a number of departures in addition to hires like Colorado defensive coordinator Charles Kelly and the more recent addition of DJ Durkin as defensive coordinator.
