Just last year, recruiting announcements on National Signing Day consisted mainly of well done graphics about a commit. Take a look at our list from one year ago. A lot changes in a year.
This year, those graphics have largely been replaced by more creative short videos and GIFs with some great personal touches from each respective program.
As the day progressed, a few programs stood out on #NSD17 in our eyes. Here are those programs with examples of what they did well to hype their recruiting classes.
Baylor - Matt Rhule and his staff did a great job coming into an adverse situation and signing a pretty dang good class, and they clearly didn't forget about the importance and value of the creative stuff along the way
Clemson - The defending national champs made the list due to their attention to the small details. Check out commit Chase Brice's face in the "M".
Illinois State - Good quick video here from the FCS ranks
Illinois State also signed the recruit with the best name in college football's 2017 signing class
Michigan - Year in and year out Michigan consistently lands on our list of the best creative stuff coming out about their class on NSD.
Notre Dame
The Irish also did a great job taking fans behind the scenes of their phone calls between coaches and commits

Ohio State
Oklahoma
Oklahoma State
SMU - Very creative
TCU- The Horned Frogs got their play by play voice in on the fun, which is a heck of a unique touch.
Michigan State - Mark Dantonio and his staff broadcasted live from their war room to give a run down of their commits, with a few of them on campus to get some face time on camera as well to talk about how the recruiting process went for them individually.
Oregon - The Ducks went futuristic, as one would expect.
This quote from Ed Orgeron is a great place to end on.
