BIG NOON KICKOFF just got bigger

Fox Sports has announced an expansion of BIG NOON KICKOFF, doubling down in an attempt to give ESPN's College GameDay a run for its money.

BIG NOON KICKOFF will now expand to two hours instead of one starting Saturday September 12th at 10AM ET.

The interesting slant is that this year Fox doesn't have Big Ten football to roll right into after the show. The slate this year looks, well, different.

In week one, for example, Fox is touting the following games: Louisiana Tech will take on Baylor at 12pm ET, also at 12pm Eastern Kentucky at West Virginia. Arkansas State at Kansas State at 5pm ET and at 10pm ET, Coastal Carolina takes on Kansas.

The unquestioned star of the show last season was Urban Meyer. Once again Fox is promoting his presence in a big way.

In their release, Fox says the show will once again be hosted by Rob Stone and will feature Urban, Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart and Brady Quinn.

Last year Bruce Feldman was used from time to time on the show as an "insider". Feldman is not mentioned in Fox' announcement today.
