A Big Ten program just opened the doors to an impressive new $79 million facility

Yesterday, players at Illinois walked into an impressive new facility that cost nearly $80 million to put together thanks to some generous donations including the folks whose name will be on the side of the facility - Henry Dale and Betty Smith.

The new Smith Football Center spans over 107,000 square feet and includes a bowling alley, a really nice players lounge, state-of-the-art sorts medicine suite, weight room, some beautiful design elements, and a new locker room players were really fired up about.

Lovie and his staff have to be excited to have this now done to sell to recruits considering Champaign.

Here's the reaction of the team after seeing the locker room for the first time.

Below are more pictures of the new facility.
